Trail ride for the general public: CANCELLED
Unfortunately, the trails have not dried out sufficiently for a safe ride, so we have no choice but to cancel the main trail riding event this year.
Our apologies for any inconvenience. Saturday, October 10, 2009, 9:00am Held at Duke It Out farm: 4105 Columbia Pike, Franklin, TN [map]
Due to the high volume of rain this month, the Country Ride ’N Roll trail ride scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, has been POSTPONED once more and it has been split into two trail riding events: one for the general public and one for Saddle Up! riders. The general public trail ride will be held on Saturday, October 10. The Saddle Up! riders trail ride will be held on Sunday, October 11.
Riders must furnish their own horse and have proof of negative Coggins test to be admitted on the grounds. A minimum of $50 in either sponsorships or a donation is all that it costs to participate in this ride on the beautiful, private 300-acre farm of Sarah and David Ingram. A family can participate for a minimum of $100.
All proceeds benefit Saddle Up!, Middle Tennessee’s oldest and largest nonprofit recreational therapeutic horseback riding program serving children and youth who have disabilities.
