Saddle Up! horsepower and a broad community of caring individuals help to deliver a profound lifetime impact to our special equestrians. Our riders experience remarkable physical, cognitive, emotional, and social gains as they participate in our Adaptive Therapeutic riding lessons, Therapy Services (physical, occupational and speech therapies), Interactive Vaulting (social/emotional team-based learning), Alumni Transitions (work ready), and the Saddle Up! Equestrian Club.
Your ongoing support ensures that the ride never ends for today’s riders and future generations.
Saddle Up! does not receive any government funding so we rely purely on the support of our broad base of caring individuals like you! Annual gifts of $1,000 or more (made in addition to event contributions) qualify for membership in our Hoofing Society. Hoofing Society membership will be recognized within the calendar year when the gift was made.
The Saddle Up! Scholarship Fund provides a 50% scholarship for all Adaptive/Therapeutic Riding participants. The scholarship fills the gap between lesson income and actual direct program costs. Our fees will remain affordable because of scholarship donations.
In addition, Financial Aid provided by a local foundation is available for those who cannot afford our $30 fee.
We all know that horses are expensive! Our trained therapy horses are donated to us based on very specific requirements. Food, fuel, shavings, healthcare, farrier and boarding are $10,000 per horse, annually, and you can help offset those costs by sponsoring a horse. For an annual donation of $1,500, you can “adopt” one of our horses by name! Visit our Horses page to pick your favorite. You are welcome to schedule a visit, and we can provide a photo shoot with your horse by contacting our Development Coordinator.
Our hard working mousers also need sponsors! For a $200 donation, you can adopt one of our cats and help provide food and veterinary care for Diva or Lottie.
The amazing transformations that happen for our children who ride would not be possible without the generous support of our donors. Every gift and every donor is deeply appreciated and welcomed.
