Saddle Up! has been changing the lives of special equestrians for more than 25 years through the power of the horse – therapeutic riding, physical and occupational therapy, equine assisted learning, and the Saddle Up! Equestrian Club. Your support helps ensure that these programs and others will be there for today’s riders and future generations, that we can grow responsibly to serve more children, and that Saddle Up! will remain the place “where all children are equal in the saddle.”
The annual fund campaign supports all the work of Saddle Up!. The annual fund is the financial foundation upon which we bring our mission and program to life. Gifts of $1,000 or more qualify for membership in our Hoofing Society.
Saddle Up! is committed to making sure that any child eligible for the program can ride regardless of financial ability. You can help with a ridership gift. A $30 gift will cover one lesson fee for one rider – this is about 17% of the actual $150 cost to provide a lesson – while $480 would cover fees for one rider for one regular session.
Maintaining a herd of horses is not cheap. The current economic situation increases those costs with higher expenses for food, fuel and utilities. For an annual $1,000 sponsorship, your name is engraved on a photo plaque of your sponsored horse displayed in our barn. Don’t be surprised if you get something in the mail – straight from the horse’s mouth!
Not to be forgotten, our barn cats also need sponsors. For $150 a year, you can provide care for one of our very unusual cats that can be seen at any time typing, hanging out on an office chair or mousing around the barn.
The amazing transformations that happen for our children who ride would not be possible without the generous support of our donors. Every gift and every donor is deeply appreciated and welcomed.
